I converted from Windows to Linux a little over a year ago and I have never looked back. After being rather pissed at Microsoft for creating the heap of rubbish they called Vista I decided to look around to see what else there was and turned to Ubuntu.
I realised very quickly that Linux was the way for me, as an advanced user I enjoyed having more control over my system and was amazed by the speed of Linux compared to Windows. I now only use Windows occassionally and Ubuntu has become my operating system of choice.
I am the owner of look2linux and I will try to create a community of users on the site helping you to convert to Linux or get help with any problems you may be having. Linux is by no means easy but with look2linux we will make it easier for you.

Sean Sandy

Hi, I am Sean, and I am a Linux user. I have been using Linux for many years and have settled on Ubuntu. I have tried many versions and distros but I kept coming back to Ubuntu. I have also had the experience of messing up my Ubuntu many a time, and have sometimes recovered, sometimes not, but it is always fun trying to fix my mistakes. Oh, and I also use Ubuntu for gaming.
Operating Systems I use:
Vista Less than a year
Linux 6 years
Ubuntu 4 years
XP 8 years
