Welcome to look2linux

Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for coming to my new site.
For many years I was a Windows user, I used it through school and I never thought that I would ever use anything else. When I got into sixth form a couple of years ago I decided to just try it out on my new laptop so I installed Mandriva and quickly realised that it wasn’t the one for me, things didn’t work properly so I did a bit of looking around and found Ubuntu.
I now use Ubuntu as my primary operating system and I have never looked back, everything works perfectly on it, its fast and never gives me any problems and most of all it is free and gets updated every 6 months. If you have a problem then you can easily get it fixed without a second thought by using the community to answer your questions and queries. Linux has changed the way that I use the computer, whereas before I would get frustrated waiting for that document to load on Windows, now it opens in a breeze and I am a lot more calmer for it.
I have developed this site to try and create a resource for people who would like to look down the path of converting but are too scared in case there are problems or they don’t know how to use the software. This website will provide tutorials, discussions and general help to get you on the way to converting and then getting comfortable in your new operating system.
Is it about time you look2linux.
